Fuel Filter Replacement

Back

When you refuel your car, the fuel settles down inside the fuel tank. Occasionally, the fuel dispensed at the gas station might have particles or impurities inside it which sediment down inside your fuel tank. They may come up into the engine when the fuel pump carries petrol to the engine from the fuel tank. The fuel filter cleans the fuel before the fuel filter can pump it into the engine. Some of the signs of a malfunctioning fuel filter include the following: Your car is unable to start on ignition Fuel consumption is high Engine check light comes on.

We recommend that the fuel filter be changed after every two successive years or 25000 miles whichever comes first.
